My 2025 Summer Beach & Vacation Reading List
There’s something special about a good book and a quiet summer moment, whether it’s toes in the sand, sipping iced coffee on the porch, or tucked into a hammock with the ocean breeze nearby. I’ve pulled together a mix of stories, settings, and inspiration to read this summer. Some brand new to me, others happily thrifted!
Here’s what’s on my summer reading list:

📖 The Magic of Sea Glass by Jenny Hale
A heartwarming story of loss, hope, and new beginnings. The perfect choice for beachside reading.

📖 Summer Island by Kristin Hannah
I’m diving into this emotional family drama set on a peaceful island, because no one captures layered storytelling like Kristin Hannah.

📖 The Nantucket Restaurant by Pamela M. Kelley
Set in one of my favorite summer spots, this feel-good novel promises food, family, and small-town charm.

📖 Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
A story about second chances and unforgettable summers. This one’s been on my list for a while and I can’t wait to finally read it.

📖 Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry (I accidentally
Because it wouldn’t be summer without an Emily Henry book! Her dialogue always makes me laugh, and I’m excited for this fresh story.

📖 The Pleasures of Painting Outdoors by John Stobart
A beautiful, thrifted find that’s part travel journal, part art book. It’s an inspiring reminder to slow down and really see the world around me.
That’s my list so far, but I’m always looking to add one more (or two!).
