Since arriving in Newport in 2001, the Gulls have become far more than a baseball team. The Gulls have built one of the most successful programs in collegiate summer baseball, capturing eight New England Collegiate Baseball League championships and helping more than 300 players advance to professional baseball, including dozens who eventually reached Major League Baseball.
