As our sailing from Southampton to Boston came to a close, our final three stops, Sydney, Halifax, and Charlottetown, turned into the perfect coastal finale.

Sailing into each port, we spotted lighthouse after lighthouse along the shoreline, each one more beautiful than the last. But in Halifax, we got to experience it up close with a visit to Peggy’s Cove… standing right beside that iconic lighthouse on the rocks, watching the waves roll in.

An unforgettable day on an extended whale watch with Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises. We encountered humpback whales, minke whales, bottlenose dolphins, sunfish, and more, with a fun photography workshop as an added bonus. An incredible experience, I highly recommend both the extended trip and their regular whale watches.

In July 2025, we spent five unforgettable days in London, starting at the vibrant Camden Market and exploring iconic sights like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Highlights included magical nights at Starlight Express and Mamma Mia!, and mastering the Underground, where “mind the gap” became part of the adventure. From historic landmarks to everyday moments, it was a trip we’ll always remember.

An unforgettable day whale watching! We saw Humpback Whales logging, flipper slapping and showing off their tails. Our Naturalist said the trip ranked in her top ten whale watching trips. It was truly and incredible experience on the water. https://www.captjohn.com/
